About Pilates Jobs International
Connecting the Pilates Community Worldwide
Pilates Jobs International was created with one simple goal: to make it easier for Pilates instructors and studios to find each other.
I’m Emma Jory, the founder of Pilates Jobs International, and I’ve been working in the Pilates and fitness industry for over 25 years as an instructor, educator, studio owner, and business owner.
The idea for Pilates Jobs International actually came from my own experience running a Pilates studio.
Finding great instructors wasn’t always easy. And at the same time, there were always talented instructors looking for opportunities, sometimes locally and sometimes on the other side of the world.
There needed to be a better way to bring the two together.
So, in 2015, I created the Pilates Jobs International Facebook Group as a place where studios could share opportunities and Pilates instructors could find work.
What started as a simple Facebook group has since grown into an international community of over 10500 Pilates instructors, studio owners, and Pilates professionals.
And we’re continuing to grow.
More Than Just Pilates Jobs
Pilates Jobs International is about connection.
It’s a place for Pilates instructors to discover new opportunities, for studio owners to find great people for their teams, and for our wider Pilates community to connect across countries and continents.
Over the years, we’ve seen instructors looking for everything from a few extra classes each week to full-time positions, freelance and contract work, online opportunities, and roles that have taken them overseas.
For studios, finding the right instructor isn’t simply about filling a timetable.
It’s about finding someone who fits your studio, understands your clients and can become a valued part of your community.
PJI helps bring those people together.

So many talented Pilates instructors are out there.
Through Pilates Jobs International, we want to give instructors a place to discover opportunities and, importantly, a way for others to discover them.
Our community brings together instructors at different stages of their careers, from those looking for their first teaching opportunity to experienced instructors looking for their next move.
We also love sharing the stories, experiences, and personalities behind the instructors in our community.
Supporting Pilates Studios
Having owned a Pilates studio myself, I know how important it is to find the right people.
A great instructor can make an enormous difference to a studio, its clients, and the whole team.
Pilates Jobs International gives studio owners a place to connect with instructors who are actively looking for opportunities and to share their vacancies with a Pilates-specific community.
As PJI continues to grow, we also want to support studios beyond recruitment by sharing their stories, celebrating what they’re creating, and helping them become more visible within the wider Pilates community.

One of the things I love most about the Pilates industry is the incredible variety of people within it.
Every instructor has their own story, training, experience, and teaching style. Every studio has its own personality and community.
That’s why we created our Instructor Spotlights and Studio Spotlights.
They give us an opportunity to introduce some of the wonderful people and businesses within our community, share their stories, and help create new connections.

The Future of Pilates Jobs International
Pilates has grown enormously since I first started teaching, and the way we work has evolved too.
Instructors can teach in studios, work independently, teach online, travel, relocate to other countries, and build long-term careers.
I want Pilates Jobs International to grow alongside our industry.
My vision is for PJI to continue becoming a place where instructors and studios can connect, discover opportunities, build relationships and grow within the Pilates industry, wherever they are in the world.
Because sometimes the right opportunity, the right instructor, or the right connection is simply about finding each other.
